Owner's Description
1st Killer Croc in cameo. I really needed an upgrade, so here is a slight one, done with eBay bucks! Paid in full for a 9.0 for this cameo. Many think the controversy of Croc's first appearance is jaded, with him being in a suit or trench coat. The Croc is not a Lizard, yet that is even semi a cross-reference to Spidey villains. They needed someone new, and in the Batman the Animated series, we almost feel sorry for Croc's plight. Not always are the surface actions the real source of contention. The deeper meaning isn't always a justified cause either. The Batman does his best as a social worker sometimes, that though he never wants to kill, he need only do what is necessary! Croc the killer got it handed to him several times. The Bats said here are your walking papers with a similar upper cut to the gut. Traded blows sometimes is the Batmans motto yet can also be sincerely gentle! Ask Catwoman!
Complete with a back cover picture of a similar orange cover in a close by issue #577, for great reads as well, can't go wrong with a McFarlane cover with pistol smoke! Picked up raw for $10 at half price books.
Grader Notes:
light bends to cover;
moderate spine stress lines to cover.
