Owner's Description
1st use of ""Uncanny"" in logo. Sauron cameo on last page. The "new" ongoing of a title, renamed and what us millennials can remember the official "X-men" to be! In both cartoon and video games, along with action figures and well you name it! The somberness of the cover meant it had to be one of the last to get, and with 8 more and a few upgrades, it was time. The X-men being a bit like a soap opera took the late 80's and early 90's by storm. Being very impressionable to this young teenager, at the time. My brother was 6 to 7 years younger, and we bonded. Good Times. There was an inspiration to root for the characters and learn of their abilities, which back then had Professor Xavier at the heart of it all! Everything hinged on him and his expertise, and he was still working as somewhat of a newbie. He still succeeded but as the leader he bore all the responsibility, for events and holding his students accountable.
Complete with a back cover picture of, "Sauron!" A cameo last page cliff hanger that is sure to surprise the living and "the reflection" of these X-men in this issue of #114. From the Marvel Collection comic books that ran wild in the 90's!
Grader Notes:
light creasing to cover;
light spine stress lines to cover.
