Owner's Description
Punisher & Hitman appearance. Len Wein story. Ross Andru & Jim Mooney art. Ross Andru & Frank Giacoia cover. 1977 Halloween time, "What just hit me?" It was to be a year later when the dice were rolled, but here with an almost post Halloween Thanksgiving shows the gritty Punisher on the trail once again. Finding a said "Hitman" character on the loose also doesn't bode well for the Spider-man who is just in time to see, once again, J. Jonah Jameson targeted. Escaping in a hail of bullets by a mini helicopter finds the hitman surviving with the newspaper publisher in tow. Now to backtrack those footsteps, the Punisher was shooting and aiming to kill after finding out about the kidnap plot, and is probably wondering why it is, that an Amazing Spider-man is in the mix. A showdown of proportions to follow next issue as they take to the skies to bring back Jameson.
Complete with that year later of an episode, when in 1978 the troubles began, and then years later is the picture of the screen at the prescreen and before released publicly, of the movie "Halloween Kills!" Not being outgunned by a holiday spree, has some law enforcement after a hitman of sorts, too. As some backup power, the heroes are not all wearing capes. While some are armed, it is still those able, willing, and defenseless alike that need saving.
