Owner's Description
"Death" of the Hitman. Punisher appearance. Statue of Liberty cover. Len Wein story. Ross Andru & Jim Mooney art. Ross Andru & Frank Giacoia cover. The End? Indeed, after some service time in the core, relationships are kindled, and only then to find the Spider-Tracer has been let loose from the helicopter. The Punisher and Spider-man do eventually find Jameson, over by the Statue of Liberty, and still clinging for dear life! The "Hitman" character calls in that military favor of the Punisher, but the Punisher decides to rescue our hero Spidey and innocent Jameson instead, which the Hitman character then agrees was the best choice. By letting go of the Punisher's debt, the Hitman releases his grip to then fall down from the top of the statue to his death. Harry Osborn, however, is having his buttons and triggers pushed, and all while in the shadows someone proclaims that, "The Green Goblin Will Live Again!" Such is the way it has "ended" for now, until the next issues.
Complete with another ending of sorts following those Halloween published Amazing Spider-Man issues, with the end portrayal of a modern trilogy in "Halloween Ends!" A picture of the screen at the prescreen, that finds those eyes affixed between a hitman and the hero. Not all where capes, but given the severity, sometimes we do indeed portray the like!
