"Star Trek: The Motion Picture" movie adaptation.
Marvel Super Special issue 15 was an adaptation of Star Trek the Motion Picture.
Although many say that Star Trek the Motion Picture was not the strongest film in the series, it featured the very interesting premise of V'ger - which happened to be fictional sixth probe of the Voyager NASA programme. One of my previous professors (Dr. Gary Flandro - Emeritus Professor of the University of Tennessee Space Institute) designed the trajectories for the two probes that were launched into space (in real life to be known as Voyagers 1 and 2).
This copy is graded at 9.6 and I suspect that I will NEVER find an upgrade. I have purchased bulk lots of what were described as high grade copies only to find that they all had bindery tears or other defects that were hard to see from online pictures.
This issue was adapted by Marv Wolfman with interior art by: Dave Cockrum and Klaus Janson. The cover art was by Bob Larkin.
