"Devils"
It's Good Evening New York with Tom Snyde! His first guest is blind attorney Matt Murdock. Snide he is, but mercifully cut short by breaking news: Bullseye has escaped from a mid-town hospital where he was awaiting surgery. Regularly scheduled programing resumes and Matt is gone.
Meeting up with Lieutenant Manolis, DD learns how Bullseye escaped after holding his breath against the anesthesia and grabbing a scalpel. The surgery was for a cancerous growth that is making Bullseye more erratic, increasingly obsessed with Daredevil and it's going to kill him.
Meanwhile Bullseye has gone on a freak out in Times Square! Thinking that everyone he sees is now a devil he kills three in quick action. He then sees everyone change back to uncostumed people. He finds a tailor and back to looking himself. Now it's time to take in a movie. 'Course someone touches Bulls and he's off laying down a beating again.
We cut briefly to the law offices of Nelson and Murdock's Christmas party... and nothing happens so Heather leaves. Later at Matt's place Elektra shows up, smashes a mirror and spies Heather in neglig?. Elektra leaves quietly.
Back to the theater and DD has caught up with Bullseye. They skirmish until Bullseye takes two hostages and wounds DD. Matt tracks them all down by listening for a cough by one of the hostages. Yep. So in the window he comes and the real fight we've been expecting takes place. They eventually end up in the subway. Horn Head isn't confident about fighting in that environment but he does prevail. His first instinct is to leave Bulls on the tracks for the next train. But he has a change of heart and drags him off to have the tumor removed. As the surgery progresses DD gets into an argument with Lt. Manolis about why he didn't kill Bullseye. Daredevil chooses to side with the law to make mad men pay. And the operation is a success.
