Brilliant work of Gothic horror. Human moths drawn to the candle of evil held by Satan himself. Some are seen falling to the depths after getting too close. This must have been shocking to say the least at the time to anybody looking at this dark masterpiece.

The somewhat masked devil from the first issue is now fully exposed. People are seen cowering helplessly as the master of evil laughs and points downwards to his domain. Powerful stuff even today, but even more so in 1945 when first released.
