Set Description:
The Hulk could clap so fierce to send waves that carried away enemies.
Wolverine too, comes to shake things up, and break the chains against Wendigo to bring Hulk back as a prisoner. Good ole Weapon X is debuted and spoken of as the heat turns up! Yes, the Hulk vs Wendigo, only to be interrupted by who we find out later is Logan, a Canadian individual, who is here under the guise of the Wolverine. Getting called away after the "higher ups" capture the Hulk themselves. Does this mean the end of Wolverine? Is he now considered a failure?
Hulk has a reputation to consider, and now so does anyone that stands in the way, whether peaceably or by way of just trying to communicate with the green giant!
With surmounting odds and the chains torn asunder comes a day of those looking for a quarrel to stand their test in time. Whether singled out or parodied, the Incredible Hulk #180-182 have been on the minds and hearts. To the chagrin of those who find and sought out the best "grail" like qualities year after year and after upticks, it has been regaled to simmer and sell rather than just a flash in the pan. Those that couldn't or didn't flip, they still make the bobby sox do loopty loos' all while keeping those satisfied within their collections. Hulk almost had the blues by issue #182, but he found his footing to help a neighbor out, and it is all in the spirit of the Incredible! The Wolverine has surmounted and survived in a mission for another day, but the experience is remembered as the one's that got away. Until Next Time!

1st Wolvie but in cameo. His 1st appearance regardless how minor. He displays last page in all his glory. The Wolverine as a character will take some time to grow and weave a backstory. This issue is a great beginner issue! but also more of a tease. I got this with an eBay coupon of 10% off, back around 2017-18 when they used to have those and before tax had started. I paid about $385 total. A wonder that I wanted it so bad, and again the timing perfect. I love the faithfulness of the Lord. I make a point to keep thankful that answers to desires and especially needs are met. This miss-wrapped copy is perfect given the circumstances and is a great addition to any Wolverine collector. Due to the market prices, this will be the highest grade copy I achieve for a while, but I'm totally satisfied with it, all things considered. I've made peace because I have doubles at the moment!
Not the barstool walker for a chair, you may be an 8.5 sideways comic wrapped neck but a #180 so woo-hoo!
Complete with a back cover picture of Marvel Cards now that CGC is grading those! The claws man! It's all about those razors for hack and slash, giving some descriptions and making some assumptions with the Wolverine in ADAMANTIUM!
Grader Notes:
light spine stress lines breaks color;
very light wear full bottom of front cover breaks color.

I had been to a small comic con in 2015, and they advertised there that at the next big comic con the following year would headline Stan Lee, which this and #180 were my first ever Signature Series on 6/3/16. It has writing on the back cover and is low grade, so it's a nice candidate for signature yellow label. It means so much to have a great writer such as Stan Lee to sign this book who also created the Hulk. Print to paper, this issue of Hulk has been read by me and shows the mystery of the Wolverine, friend or foe of the Hulk and/or Wendigo! It is the rumble that makes the Wolverine show up in splendor to show off his talents: busting chains, lightning quick reflexes, and wits to outsmart two mongrels! LOL, I had this pressed by the boardie Joeypost and quite some time after signature, due to what looked like crayon, went from a 2.5 to a 3.0; it just looks better now. I know he is called Mr. Patient, but that was probably just tedious to get crayon removed. It was still a yellow label before, so it wasn't considered restoration removal or anything. The writing on the back cover, however, is in pen and can't be removed as "easy!"
The program in my scrapbook!! It was a trip going from hearing on the radio of a Comic-Con, purchasing tickets and wondering why I had not ever gone before, and then entering to realize it was a smaller Comic-Con. Only for the next big Comic-Con advertised there to star Stan Lee and be my first ever submission for Signature Series!
Complete with a back cover picture of the "POP Hulk #181 GameStop Exclusive!" With POP #24 coming in "hot" to bring in the new year 2024! Complete with the Wolverine breaking chains and in his original costume! fight! This awesome "The Wolverine vs the Hulk" Sideshow statue, as the perfect companion to the 1st Wolverine appearance issues. I'm Excited to own it, although the comics I traded for it were steep! Got to have some dedication to my main man.
Grader Notes:
fade left center of front cover;
multiple crease front cover breaks color;
multiple marker/pen back cover;
stain right center of front cover.

Wolverine Cameo on 1st page. Cracker Jack Wilson needs the Hulks help, and in prison the Hulk encounters Hammer and Anvil who in "momentum" cannot be moved and cannot be stopped. They plan to squish the Hulk between them to help end his Life! Way overpaid, although it was priced correctly. The problem is I got it from seller Reece Comics, from eBay instead of their website. That was a noob mistake not soon forgot. I also had a 7.5 in Signature Series by Len Wein that I bought at the same time, but it was parted ways with, after better sig series became available. We still need a nice condition blue label to round out the first 3 like appearances of the Wolverine. Like the Punisher, early Wolverine was deemed collectable by me early on, even the cameos between full appearances! Navigating those noob info details wasn't a complete loss, as the market determined. The 2nd Full appearance in GSXM was achieved well after, as it was already a highly valued collectable.
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of, "UPGRADED!" Featuring Marisa Tomei in the film who is Aunt May in Spider-man films, and the title of the film is quite fitting that we shouldn't be in a rush to check out, whether romantically or by simple impulse, we need to stay within our limits. Lord Help Us, because comics are RAD! Comics, Comics, Comics!
Grader Notes:
Right Bottom Front Cover Crease Breaks Color;
Right Center Front Cover Lite Crease Breaks Color;
Spine Stress Lines.
