Set Description:
DOUBLE COVER! 1st ongoing, keeping the character more than a one off, and fleshing him out in this series. A lot takes place in the 1st couple of issues to get going. Then the late #20's and early #30's, is where the excitement and eerie fun come in for cover illustrations, under the MOON! It isn't all lunar or even lunacy, it takes a special will to be so focused. The bad guys are coming left and right in this series, and the most pivotal, right off the bat in the 1st issue.
The Moon Knight Spectacular takes over from the 70's and keeps lit as a fire until today. It has many iterations and avenues that it takes, none of them are as sensible in the mind of the Moon Knight!

This is the Moon's mission to pick out new life, to boldly go! Err, to claim Moon Knight as a personal ambassador? Get out of here! He'll take the job because he wasn't doing anything at the time anyway, but to circumvent any wrongdoing he'll do it well or with the mindset of a mission, instead of just picking up groceries. I hope he remembers to tell himself that when he isn't pulling punches. That said? The comics show a form of much more seriousness in the 80's as opposed to streaming and modern iterations. The mind is a humbling thing, but it comes with a spirit, soul, and body. Add in a "MOON" and that is bound to get confusing. It plays on the mind of creator Don Perlin R.I.P. the creator of the 'knight' that takes his own ribbing for early styling. Of which was modern for the time, and from whom I also have a sketch from on an Avengers issue!

Double Cover! Outer Cover 8.5 Inner cover 9.6 Label 9.6. I'm glad that Moon Knight got this ongoing series to flesh out the character a bit more. I sprung for the double cover to make me even happier! I'd be too nervous to resubmit this for grading and a press, even though I know it would benefit. I'm quite satisfied to see the 9.6 and double cover accounted for, as I spent more on this than the going price of a 9.8 at the time. Hoping that buying what I want, that rule would win out. It is for the better that I kept up with that positivity, because I still think it is cool! I see that it has moved up in value, still submitted my newsstand under copy raw. It came back 9.2 and was trade fodder, yet there is the update. Doubling in covers amounts to twice the math for label grade, and it is collectable to some more than other, those you find in the wild can be especially treasured and saved from the trash bin!
Complete with back cover picture of the #1 issue of the next ongoing series, as a raw from 1986. These Moon Knight issues were a battle ground and most of them survived fairly well. Got to get what you can find for the complete story!
Grader Notes:
double cover;
light bend right top of back cover;
light spine stress lines to cover;
light, multiple scuff right bottom of back cover;
tear center of spine.

Doug Moench story Vicente Alcazar & John Tartaglione art Bill Sienkiewicz cover. I got this mainly for the Bill art, which is unique enough in whatever fashion that it portrayed his artistic style for a long time, even with other titles! I got this in the boards raffle circa 2023 into 2024, from boardie Kramerica. Happy New Year! Still early on in Moon Knight appearances to be considered character building, and with the back cover pics as extras, it made this raffle prize very special. Glad to represent some tough in high grade books, this issue and #25. While most of the imperfections on a CGC 9.6 are minimal, with the "all black cover" it certainly presents well! Some reading material and a slab make the boards frivolity all the more important to be a part of with appreciation. Good times to be had, friends to make, and a great way to both end and begin the year! Moon Knights welcome to the collection.
Complete with a back cover picture of some of those raws, that got into the collection with a generosity story to boot! That makes for some good collecting and keeps the train a rolling. Boards interaction is always welcome when it is about comics, comics, comics!

Origin & 1st appearance of Black Spectre (Carson Knowles). Won it in the boards raffle circa 2023 into 2024, Happy New Year! Got it from boardie Kramerica who was generous with the back cover raws as well. Love the new additions and the keeping of holiday traditions so to speak. It takes time to curate and I'm glad that it is still friendly when people talk about comics on the boards. Moon Knight is back in fashion with an all-black cover that takes a hard look at minor issues with NM + CGC 9.6. Rumored there is a version of this issue with a white dot on the cover, while my copy doesn't have it, it makes you wonder how far people will go with niches. Me included. 1st appearances in Moon Knight with character building are always needed and are also welcome additions to the collection. It takes all kinds when those interests span decades. This 1980 series until the end is no exception, as Moon Knight was featured into the 90's unto today in different volumes!
Complete with a back cover picture of some of those aforementioned raws, that kept a place in time for memory of boards Christmas and beginning of the New Year frivolity. Times they change for some, and we can look back to remember but need to keep the hunt, drive, and new possible circumstances before us. Patience bringing perseverance, and a little bit of other virtues, the lastly Hope that needs not be ashamed.

Moon Knight Special Numero Uno! Indeed, he is special, with his very own streaming show that keeps facts straight and takes to task the universe. All while bringing justice in the series, along with the memes around the social media platforms. Moon Knight may even seem here to stay and moved up from the "C" rank of character. One can hope that these aren't just whims or flights of fancy. Given in "free" or bit of trade to me by the boardie, FrozenTundraGuy. It is good to know that there are friends to gab about comics. We've got the Moon and any blessing that is of Knighthood? Can it be that this guy might be taking the role a bit too seriously? Times like these we roll out the scroll of history given to us by Marvel! lol Foretelling us first in Werewolf by Night #32 that the Moon Knight would transform, and into this world be given the Moon as a light of justice!
Wraparound Cover that takes a stand in picture form on its own. a beauty!
Grader Notes;
multiple bend.
