Set Description:
Thor Classic Covers, captivating art and stories. We've got the gambit and all the frivolity for the adventure friend. Right here in the Journey into Mystery that first featured the Thor, a Hammer, and the worthiness that we can all aspire too. Thor doesn't disappoint at all and does well enough to get his own solo story line as well! Along the way, learning and using the wisdom found in the power that comes.
Come along with me and let me tell you a story about the Thor of Mystery, that took back a rainbow bridge and counted the stars, all while taking the Hulk out of Asgard!

Thor, as a character, is a journey in itself, as long as it's been with Marvel in publication in some form or another. It has enough depth to be considered deep, along with enough meat on the bone to be considered substance. Asgard and Asgardians are filled with their own troubles and spirited warriors, that are enough to deal with, but as with most gods, the Earth seems to bring its own beacon to bring them as hot seekers of defenders from those targets, the universe wide. Indeed, Thor almost spends more time here than at his home, and other than that being a must visit location, it is also his mission to defend and protect "us" as his own. He is a family to those who take him in, but he has taken on his own share of dilemmas by those who would seek his assistance, and that is enough appearing on his resume to remain very popular. Those are day by day circumstances, but those piled on and over years, it has only proven generous, to say the least, of those from Asgard and the people called the Asgardians! It is definitely a Journey Into Mystery for sure.

CLASSIC COVER. STAN LEE STORY. Funny story, I bought this at Keith's comics, this time I asked to look at it before buying! Keith opened it and started flipping pages. I saw a tear at the bottom of the page that had a "part of the story" but the rest was missing. I asked about it and Keith said I could have it for $15, but I kept looking throughout the store for more books. While I'm looking, Keith says, "You should have bought this while you could get it cheap!" I come back over, and Keith shows me the torn page that I had asked about. The torn piece was still attached and had folded around the spine to "appear on another page", giving the effect of a "page missing". He still gave me a discount Ha-Ha, but not as much! Glad to have this Classic added to my collection! It's designated as a "classic cover" on the CGC label, and having learned about it to judge for myself, I tend to agree. Bought early on when getting back into collecting, I'm all in to purchase raw and get slabbed at $137!
Complete with a back cover picture of this issues POP figure #89/13 Journey into mystery, "The Most Colorful Superhero of All!" I keep telling myself I'd only buy these for issues I own and in the wild.
