Set Description:
What A Band-Team-and all around-Cool-Cats! Valarie is here too, in the set for you, and us, well we have the rockers of the future! Keep it together we've got a gig tonight! These fun loving and foxy ladies are the way to go, and they keep it fresh. I got this set added to the registry, so jump in with both feet! Full of hilarity, with the fun that comes with school, relationships, and yes, even the school of rock! They may even melt a heart or two. Always melt away the blues with a trio rocker attitude. Josie and the Pussycats are relevant, because today we long for the freedom to live and let live.
They're a rocker, a roller, a right out of controller. A chooser, a bruiser, the rock and rollers man! That keeps the cool cats mellow, while giving them the time and show of their lives!

Josie is after a kind or brand that speaks to this era of comics and found similar to some Archie comics that came into "its own", as well, and as a pastime, is still considered one of the elders of publication. As a longstanding time or era inserting itself within culture, it is also worth some consideration to ponder the implications and or remember fondly. It had its own charm within its own world, and took with it the modern era as well, with steady purchases and with some that took interest in order to keep it going. Not always popular or having a mainstream fanbase, it has stood the test long enough to stand on its own merits. Josie, being an offshoot, takes all of this into consideration, and is in good company. There are times to make or break the bank, but novelty as well with niche are their own reward. All along the roads travels, it is up to us to decide and take on the world by its own happenstance, while considering also that Josie alleviates the stresses with ease and simpleness!

Early Josie! As of 5/22/2020 highest graded copy. An interesting cover, "fishy dance!" Josie has to get some better game! Glad to have added this copy woot-woot! What can you say about the red head of the 60's? Simpler? Corny? It's a lovable dish of playfulness: tans, dates, boys, and all-around town dangers. Better watch out! They've got teenage hijinks regardless. Guaranteed to make you smile and wonder omg lol and wth! Going on to be a movie phenom with as much pizazz as the bee's knees. I wouldn't doubt the power of the girl's heart and spirit. With that yellow cover that is longed for in a digitized modern age! They've got to get the "sounds and inspiration" for the band from somewhere, that being the case the Jukebox tunes back then had what are now considered classics! Classic all the way around and takes to task the attractiveness of our old feel for comics. With the smell, handling, and now sought after in near mint condition. Josie incorporated they'll call it, after much media TV show Riverdale success!
Complete with a back cover picture of my instrument of choice, a PRS Standard with GR-55 Nolan Synth! We've got to make some sounds that move the groove and keep in time with the shindig!

Last appearance of "Pepper". Lucked into this series, as of 5/22/2020 this is the highest graded copy! Love me some Josie! And pepper was awesome too! Pepper, ah Pepper, there is no one as frank and honest like you today. It would need some wisdom and irony to bring about the understanding of your imagination. Wise cracker without meaning to be, because everyone takes it seriously, even when they really shouldn't. It's a parallel unmatched in today's society, and we need to be able to laugh with pepper, as much as Pepper needs to give it the ole college try. We've got game here folks! It has the beginnings and yet a little middle of the road for even back then, as funny books were just that calm humorous enjoyment, that too could be seen as a Nerd Con. Leading to being set outside the group as the ever so famous Nerd moniker suggests, and comics like Josie maybe even were for the girl nerds. It is a type of innocence that is more spoken well of now, than before, but it isn't a disablement but a brighter less edgy path to take.
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen poster that I got while seeing the movie "Pepper-mint" before it publicly went to theaters that started out in the open much like this cover. We all need justice, and we hope to keep the humor involved when we settle back down for living. We all need the times of getting serious, while still keeping forgiveness and light BIG in our hearts, minds, souls, and strengths. Simpler times? Thats Josie!

This Issue marks the Change in Title to Josie and the Pussycats and their 1st appearance as the Band and 1st Valerie Smith. A Half Price Books find for $10 raw. What A Win! Especially in 6.0 grade, I'm Super Happy! :) A more "innocent time?" It's a classic! Ants. Ants in the pants. Ants in the pants make frantically pools vacant. I don't write the jokes, yet as relatable and irresponsible as it sounds, anyone within earshot sees the urgency in this issue. Let's start a band! Dude that's what I was thinking. Give it spunk and give it punk. People will call it junk, maybe? Movies, spinoffs, and comic books will put that talk and record deal in the trunk! Josie and the band are like a real "Street Fighting Man", as in the Rolling Stones, hence the Street Fighter Woman. They didn't create the back log of trying to act like the "mean streets", and yet they had to prove themselves all the same!
Complete with a back picture of Chun Li from Street Fighter and quite literally a Rolling Stone ~ "Street Fighting Man!" When these cats hit the stage, it's a sure fire "PERFECT!" Akin to a flawless victory! The crowd wants more of these to fill the "Fight!" Determining the winner of the "Battle of the Band!"
Grader Notes:
light bends to cover;
light spine stress lines to cover;
medium, light crease left bottom of back cover;
small tear with crease right top of front cover;
very light foxing to cover.

Awesome Josie and the Pussycats signed by Campbell! Super Clean Copy, slowly building my Josie Collection. Fully paid by eBay bucks, but the Campbell signature and yellow label make it worth it! Modernized and kept relevant, these hot talkers are back for the gig, and they'll keep the print big! This "Rolling Stone" homage belongs on the CGC label, and that's how red hot these lyrics can be! Don't spill the drink on the felines that would raise some tail, these cats will put it in the mail. Not even phoned in by Campbell, making it rock what a shock, Josie is encouraging the flock. A flock is for sheep, for cats it's called a Clowder. Still, some rock and roll to be won, and cheery attitudes win over the multitude of followers. These cats are where it's at! Campbell on display for the sake of the cause, and we've got it here "Walking in L.A.!" A pin up style as a Rolling Stone Homage Cover! Rock and Roll!
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released publicly to the movie of, "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F!" That is "Foley" to those reminiscent of the late 80's when similarly, a Josie could be heard around the 90210 regions. No longer living in a "Van down by the River", with the rock the stage attitude and detective hijinks that we've come to love from Eddie Murphy! A hopefully enjoyable viewing and akin to a Chris Farley and Beverly Hills Ninja and SNL Alumni. Humor that will sure take a spot close, hopefully, to the 1st movie of the Beverly Hills Cop; otherwise, we'll be putting bananas in a cat-of-nine-tail pipes to good use!
