1st appearance of The Robin King! An alternate universe that collides with the everyday Batman, and or making it goth? A version of Robin, and he is a king? Many a twisted turn! Along with the Batman Who Laughs, they are seeking to take the new world into ours, join them at the hip, and have a slaying good time of it while they are at it! Even a "baby Darkseid" couldn't have foreseen the misfortune that surrounds the Batman and the key to stopping the merge. Complete with cackling and taking it seriously, the heroes are searching for the answers of the backward and twisted. Oddly enough the villains seem more than forthcoming with information ha-ha. He's only laughing on the inside hoping that you might join him for a weep. I wonder what the theme song would be for this iteration. Not without the realm of the theme of the Batman, but instead a throwback to 90's "alternative?" All in good fun!
 #1's out the wazoo, and a kazoo might play as nice for the buzz they had as well.
Complete with a back cover picture of the insides of this issue from an under copy, showing the Robin King menace, and there is a Dark Knights Dinosaur in the following pages, it takes all worlds and ages when it comes to the beyond, just know which side you're on and you're well off! Beware the Dark Knight: Metal!

1st Cameo appearance of The Batman Who Laughs! Bought this 9.8 for $60 shipped! That is way lower than current GPA in 2021! I found a fine condition raw at the video game store for only $1! It got me interested after reading, and it's a decent enough story. Complete with a baby Darkseid, the Batman is securing him for the ultimate weapon! Will it be too late? What is this secret to do with the Batman and how will it all play out? These superheroes sporting the cover are trying to track down the Bats to find out. What is that portal though? And who in cameo is stepping out and speaking mysteries? The Batman? Who laughs? Why would he come to this world and what will the court of owl's plan for his arrival? Stay tuned bat-friend, same bat-series, SAME BAT SOURCE! Still out for himself the Joker somehow gets his kicks on "route", to anywhere!
 It wouldn't be a good time through the dark side of the moon without some Amazonian warrior spirit thrown in for good measure! Featuring the "variant cover" to this issue.
