Set Description:
A few 1sts and Dark ink covers!! There is real substance here! A must read to be able to understand that it's about relationships. Many will come, but will the friendships and teams Peter out? Park'er right here and learn of the Cloak and the Dagger. It takes a want, and or desire to be closer than a brother. Dare I say some higher power, to make the team up discern the deciding factor? It is business as usual for the old Cloak and Dagger, that have since been mined for their closeness in heart and mind.
There is plenty of cartoon love for Spider-man as well, nearly every generation has some sort of media, good old Marvel doing their job and keeping the namesake of sorts alive and thumping in the brains of the world!

Spider-man jumps to bob and weave, but this series is all about the inks, be it John Byrne or even I think John Romita. Those night views of heavy city backgrounds take the Spider-man from the friendly neighborhood to out and about the city. With friends and waves of artists, creators, and writers in tow, it all came together with the happenings of a then very adult Peter Parker, who had his "ways!" Be it the Black Cat or Mary Jane or anywhere in between, it took heroics to get the ladies and without a wink of sleep, save the shuteye of sneaking a kiss or two. The makings of a hound spider, but odd he didn't have a pet dog, but every now and again. Mostly palling around with a symbiote that took out the wind, for sails that might have made or break the title. It was still spectacular but with a similitude in backbone.

Tarantula appearance. Bought for $195 on a whim from eBay, just to round out the set. I was saving for comic con 2023 and had sold something less important, although I should have paid PayPal first then bought this book. Argh, I guess I saw the funds available and it short circuited my thinking. I wanted to remember my mistake, but as for this slab, there are a lot of covers with the Tarantula sprawled across in a kick with those stinging toe boots! Glad to add one more to my sets, collection and registry! Keeping realistic with a big #1 issue to keep #64 company! Tarantula was kind of a big player, especially in the Bronze Age of the 70's. I believe that they wanted to play off of the agility that the Spider-man was known for, and yet, Kraven the Hunter wasn't as new, but he was the 1st real villain like that Spidey faced that was similar in ability. The Tarantula now has his turn all throughout the 70's and beyond. A long run, but very agile, he needs his workout!
Complete with a back cover picture of Fluffy! Gabriel Iglesias, circa 2024! Shirts of commemoration! Bonding with my brother and taking in the local venues. Heritage on the brain of all cultures with the Tarantula speaking up in Latin style, comics! Be it the funny pages or the stand-up kind, it takes all sorts to get along!

Origin and 1st Appearance of the Cloak and Dagger of Comics! I remember watching the movie of the same name at private school, in the summer at band camp. Oh, if we could turn back time to simpler and more humble beginnings, and our heart to that which is imagination. I remember exclaiming, "Is the movie about the comic?" LOL. There has since been a TV show and much to everyone's delight, they showed their powers off fairly well. I tried watching, but it struck me too much as a bit of a Soap Opera. I get that they were trying to build tension, but it felt a bit too much like the "Twilight Series" to me. I'll give credit to the comics for good form. With an awesome cover, are these new characters friend or foe? Teamwork seems to be their hook at making their career work. Wonderful 9.6 with white pages, I'll take it as the ball bounces.
Complete with a back cover picture of issue #243, that includes a "goblin" of sorts returning to defend his "good" name as the goblin! Along with the Chameleon messing with Spidey, to offset reality and his Spider-Senses. Some good reads in this series, so give them a shot, for the "real and spectacular!"
