Set Description:
1988 busting forth, out, and through, well, all over the place!
Aliens burst forth, take it to the chest, and give the Queen the slime! This is the 80's and the time is now to appreciate the phenomenon. Full of spurred innovations and concepts that are repeated even today! Never say Die. Movies taught us so much!
Never give up and all that, we can keep up the heroics despite the odds! Many a "Die Hard" has aspired to tell the tales of when time gets too difficult! Keep it hip and teach these newcomers, have an explosive good time.
Indeed, still with us always, through any means necessary, we've got the Moxy and Stamina! On to the Big Screen that tests our nerves and wellbeing!
I believe "Alien" was released June 22nd, 1979, and that spelled success to costumes and makeup departments bringing in the foreboding dwellers of space! The 1st suit was actually quite thin but large, but again, was not CGI and instead was a person in a suit! The now television shows like The Collectors Call have these suits being shown off in collections that in turn have made museums. All the right place and the right time. The 1st Alien Suit from the 1st movie is owned by someone who used to act on the show Leave it to Beaver. It is nice to see normal tendencies being exhibited into a hobby by the classics of old when things and materials seemed new.
It is when those modern tellings and avenues lose their intrigue that it is then seen as "too old or outdated", while the Alien movies tend to hold strong long into the early 2000's. With now prequels of prequels using similar stunts with a bit of CGI, one wonders if the effects "hit the fans" with the same wonderment, but it is all for the name of the game and genre.

1st appearance of Aliens in Comics. Straight out of the chest and into the collection. Aliens coming to birth and feed, these predators need to find a new home, and in 9.2 at this time I'll take it! I say we nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure. Complete with action packed stories from a not-so-distant existence, the comics bring home the movies and try to make the "Alien" a household name and commodity. Complete with video games too, along with sound effect robots and action figures. They've got that innovative "collectability" that has carried decades worth of nostalgia. Even today there are "new" niches in the "Aliens", if one is not careful it is easy to go overboard. I believe my favorite are the replica guns that are fashioned after the movies! Time is on their side, to bring them new to each generation. Keeping it tight, a bit of an overspend, yet worth it.
"Poster's Galore!" Thank You, Mr. Bond, James Bond!
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of, "ALIEN: Romulus!" Aliens are the "feeding on others" type of corral but like in this movie they don't play with fate! They are out for themselves and taking on the seriousness of their feeding. It is the horror side of the universe that can use a hero of stamina and chutzpah! Heroes are being made in the moment; all are welcome.
