A no spoiler description, on a story that has rocked the TMNT house. These Turtles are keeping the intuition and ninja style going. Making it a long-awaited series, that Eastman and Laird had fleshed out years ago! THE LAST RONIN!! This may be the "end in style". We've got a Turtle weapon wielding Ninja, i.e. Ronin, the last of his clan. Got to make with the memories and ghost stories of the brother's departure and sharpen the focus to the task at hands. Though it is not without hardship to stick to the ninja way, and that will be key in the mission to avenge the fallen, the ultimate victors. A "one" for the ages and past times, the Last Ronin is sure to be a grateful and thankful sullen compromise of what was and what can become as a classic. The Eastman and Laird final contribution? They've stood together but made it as a team time after time!
Complete with a back cover picture of, The TMNT arcade as the most nostalgic image I could come up with for how these heroes are to be remembered, a team, this limited series may still bring them closer together before it is all finished!

I happened to be going by the Local Comic Shop on a Wednesday. I knew it was new comic book day, but today there was a line! I asked, "What's the hubbub bub?" The Last Ronin had struck my heart with a Sai and Nunchaku! The Sword blade pointed me toward the Bo staff of the counter! I'll take 2 please! This is the only "variant" of this issue I obtained, since it was an actual "Eastman cover and art!" I figured to get the creator's edition, as it is his creation, and his and Lairds story from way back that they finally completed and put ink to paper. A cool reddish orange that is at least "different" looking than anything I've seen before, and the story inside is the talk of the town. A lone Ninja Turtle survives and makes the grade, or try's to, to keep the Ninja time going despite all odds! I wouldn't have it any other way, and "I Love Being a Turtle!"
Complete with a back cover picture that is from my scrapbook as a kid. Cutting and pasting was all the rage in the late 80's to early 90's. We had figureheads geared towards us youngsters, and all we could say was COWABUNGA!
