Set Description:
A lovely, titled sentiment that has the usual laughs for horror. Cake or pie covers start flying early for this book in my collection. Acquired through means of a Christmas/New Years holiday raffle in 2022. Got to love the boards, and an opportunity to be a giver. Complete with a holiday theme itself, or that kind of frivolity, it seems fitting the comical joy of these covers. Despite, sort of, being a horror series, we all have those times when we need the twinge of humor to cut the mustard. Mustard cake? ewww! Added the connecting cover of Ice Cream Man #24, for the full effect!
Ha-ha you're dead~ Was a good song by Green Day. Less slapstick and more, in your FACE. This series takes an iconic role of looking at the seriousness of life to play it into an alternate, making light of the future with clowns.

It is the era of a joke but an unsettling one, and regardless, it is when acquired during boards frivolity that it becomes inspiring and a relief to joke, love and laugh, to live and let live! Those "horror" type that take into the forefront by sidestepping age old colloquialisms like "the horror of clowns and the ice cream man." It means that it is fair game in the day and age where it takes a lot to seem "new" and or just keep the train a rolling. A niche by any other name can still catch the eye and be able to be considered a snatch for collaging in any collection and or scrapbooking. It takes friends, families, the boards, and whatever modern era brands that keep love turning in the world. It is like the water or word; indeed, love is an ocean!

Cakes are trotted to throw for "Christmas Joy" by this issue. The Cake that is Pie came first though, that is for dessert! An Apple Pie this Holiday! Pie's that are the expensive looking kind make up the cake and splatter on the face, that also look a bit mysteriously gross sometimes, when so well done or drawn! HAHA is a bit of a horror book, with a light twist. Given the number of variants, they have to make it work for a minute, even while appearing to be playfully light on the feelings. These relative superficial and even colorful bright ideas take the back seat sometimes, whether being the horror only genre or not. I can enjoy it for what it is. I won this in the 2022 Holiday Raffle, from friend and boardie crops068. Blessing after blessing this year, well here is to a new one coming! Even in comedies there are laughable and yet teachable moments. Got to live, laugh, love, and with Joy that This is the Day that the Lord has made.
Complete with a back cover picture of the closest "talking to the clown" I do, which is at Jack in the Box. That's an old phrase speaking about talking to the speaker box outside to order. It is as old as these retro fitting comics like Ha-ha and Ice Cream Man seek to portray. A world full of soda jerks and McDonald's comes Jack in the Box heads for your radio antenna. It spoke to the road and fandom getting out to stay rooted, while rooting for each other's passions. Go Cowboys? Or just give me two tacos for a $1.99 that taste the same as 40 to 50 years ago!
