Set Description:
Captain America has proven fruitful several times. Proving Captain America like heroes can find themselves not being able to help or save everyone. Such is the try and try again portion of their resume!
Soldier on, it is time for the Winter Soldier to dawn the light of day. Complete in this series, that takes it to the movies and beyond, but it takes the bonds that tie. Will the relationships ever be the same, and exactly who's fault can it be that some are turned to the soldiering ways? Don't look back Captain America, you've done the best that you can. Even Iron Man comes looking for the resolutions, but is all exactly what it seems?
Tune in guests of honor!
Winter Soldier turned Captain America, turned soldier, turned topsy turvy hand to hand combat and in a most vigilant and decisive way!
Bucky Barnes is bucking trends to become the sniper. He off's the Red Skull in issue #1, so he looks as though to be on the side of good and America's welfare, but when opportunity comes a knocking, Will it fair as well between him and Captain America? The life is in the blood plus the ties that bind, and cannot be erased as easily with a bullet or a stray sense of reality, but loyalty is rather a fickle line of crossing within such a world building universe!
Red Skull? Is he truly out of the picture?
How about testing THAT in a lab! A fudge on any resume will always inhibit a job, but the proof is always found wanting within our good reads of comics. The end is not as easy as a beginning, as easy times are harder to find. Take heart, because these shots at freedom are for the good of mankind!

Captain America #550. "Death" of the Red Skull. Ed Brubaker story. Steve Epting cover & art. That epic sniper shows his skills but is eventually revealed as the Winter Soldier, in a type of cameo, but still takes out the high profiled target in the Red Skull. He needs proof of demise but is the evidence to be trusted when old Captain America was sidelined by his government only now to be needed in investigating the clean-up and or cover up! Those are tough breaks for Captain America when he is "in relations" but needs to keep a clear head, when his nostalgia is for the good and the right but always on the firing line when it becomes too grey an area. On the uptake the eventual Winter Soldier reveal needed Captain America as a solution, too, but what will he do on the purposeful side, when he does smell the blood in the water from day one! Bought raw at Half Price books for $2, with no press!
War is over if you side with the victor, and the "Hustle" is a picture of the screen at the prescreen, showing that making an effort to be on the right side or to make right a wrong takes a heart that has changed and to arise anew! Captain America has proven fruitful several times.
Complete with a back cover picture of the insides to this issue, by the end of the book it shows some dirty deeds done dirt cheap, but by who? By whom? Is it a cameo or a start to another confrontation?
Grader Notes;
spine stress lines spine.

1st full appearance of Winter Soldier. "The Scarlet and the Black" movie poster cover homage. Captain America #555. In comes the Winter with a real frost over of feelings for the Captain America. Good old Cap is not looking blameless this go around, and the Winter Soldier is taking aim to right those wrongs. Complete with movie news and a few viewers, even Iron Man seems to care. The end result is that some good wins out and some wrongs are righted, yet we can't get over the bonds that were on shaky times. I got this from Duncanville Bookstore 2022 on the Facebook live feed, and right before the Fan Expo Dallas Comic Con was to take place. The store was previewing books to take to the con, and I didn't want to miss out, especially in case the price goes up once on display at the event. Times are quick and needed to snag a deal in this year's market.
Wristbands carve out stamps for prescreens.
"Mufasa: The Lion King!" Showing the issues of scars and thereby naming their plight after the Scar in transition, same as the Winter Soldier. Proving Captain America like heroes can find themselves not being able to help or save everyone. Such is the try and try again portion of their resume! Dog tagged chains.
Complete with a back cover picture of a prescreen pass to the movie before released publicly of, "Thunderbolts!" Marvel Studios and indie sellouts, self-proclaimed, take aim at another saga and this time featuring the Winter Soldier.
