Australian Price Variant. 1st full appearance of Carnage (Cletus Kasady). $1.80 cover price. Indicia reads 4/92. SIGNED & SKETCH BY MARK BAGLEY ON 8/29/23. Brought to me from the boundaries of the down under by friend, fellow collector, and boardie PunisherPunisherPunisher. He visited the U.S.A. and brought a token of friendship for me driving him around to look for Comics! Comics! Comics! It was FCBD weekend 2023, and we had good success to find stuff on sale and affordable. His only condition was if he gave this issue to me, was that I needed to go all out with a remarque and sketch by Mark Bagley the creator to round it out. It appeared a high-grade copy and coming back 9.0 was a decent grade for the book to try a little frivolity, and here it is back before year end 2023. Featuring the 1st appearance of Carnage, and a Mark Bagley creation with sketch and signature series. I remember when I first saw this book, the regular issue, as a kid at the grocery store. Those were times when we wish we had more lunch money! It has been pressed.
Complete with a back cover picture of the other Australian token brought to me from down under! A hand-crafted boomerang that is subtly cliche but brought the thunder all the same! Thunderstruck!
Grader Notes:
light creasing to cover;
light spine stress lines to cover.

Carnage, Venom & Human Torch appearance. Australian Price Variant $1.80 cover price. A MyComicShop.com purchase, for $113 shipped, thankfully that is a decent price for the "same grade" as my #361! Glad to have a similitude there for a completing a Australian Price Run! It was on the spur of spending money on other things, and yet, it fit the bill. That somewhat yellow cover as a kid really stood out on the stands, showing some kind of "team-up!" Eventually Venom comes around for when it pleases him to be a "hero!" Carnage has always been the double crosser, and this 2nd appearance is no different. Perhaps that is what makes Venom see the light, to see his "kind" and the trouble he causes. Carnage is always up for "hosting" in more ways than one, a party of destruction. Might as well play "March of the Pigs" By Nine Inch Nails, for Carnage's INTRO! STEP RIGHT UP!
Complete with a back cover picture of what it feels like to collect niches, to each their own, but that under current I think still drives a lot of the market. An invisible hand ready to throw down! "Snoochie Boochies" ~ Jay, and Silent Bob!
Grader Notes;
spine stress lines.
