1st appearance of the Living Brain. Fantastic Four appearance in backup story. Last page missing does not affect story incomplete. First page detached as well.
Did not know at the time that it was missing the last page upon submitting through Comics on the Green. They didn't know either and felt really bad, offered to purchase it back/help find me an issue that was complete at that grade as I had previously purchased that copy through them at Scranton Comic Con 2015.
I was okay with it, mistakes happen and it fits my M.O. the way I normally collect single digit marvel books either reproduction cover or a add page is missing.

King Kon Comic Show: March 7th, 2026
Originally didn't plan on attending as there were no artist I wanted to get a commission from, and I didn't bring much cash with me. I did go to have the Collectible Conservancy crack out three books for me to get ready for a future convention and to just read the book. I walked the show floor and came across a seller with prices that were more than fair. I initially shook my head as I thought I was reading the price wrong and I asked to see the book. After a few minutes I sheepishly shared I only had a certain amount of cash and asked if he would take credit card for the rest he accepted PayPal and once I sent the payment he said, "You just hit the jackpot Tiger," which was one of Mary Jane Watson's first lines.
He had gotten the book done in person at Terrificon back in 2019. Rest In Peace John Romita.

As a lizard fan, this is a necessity in the run. My original copy was purchased at Comic on the Green during a Scranton Comic Show. That original copy had been sold June 2021 due to life issues at the time to Comics on the Green. Slowly, I have been buying back the issues I had sold. This copy was purchased at Comics on the Green in 2022.
Roy Thomas was at a very small comic show in Wayne NJ, with a facilitator available. New Jersey Collectorfest. Basically, a inside flea market type atmosphere with a couple minor celebrities or artist each show. Normally not the type you would see CGC at but given the fact it was Roy Thomas, he seems to have a following of facilitators following him.
I also got a 0.5 at the show graded through him and my coverless raw copy signed just to keep as a reader.

Comic Con "eBay": Ordered 8/11/25 -
I had put this in my watchlist awhile ago as it had a lot going for it. It is a double cover, as well as double signed by Gerry Conway. I held off due to price and the fact there is a number written in pen on the cover. The seller reduced it in price however and then on top of it gave an offer which was even lower so I saved $70. There is also a little note card that stated it was signed at Rose City Comic Con 2018. The one thing I sort of wish that CGC does is to annotate where a book is signed. Then again, if they do, it would cut into the number of characters allowed on a label and for those that do cast signed books it could eat up potentially future full names. Oh well.

This was originally a CBCS slab purchased off of MyComicShop.com with the same grade. The slab went for cheap so I put it into my wish list box of CGC signature series ideas.
