Set Description:
The first ongoing series, which keeps it fleshed out to become the Deadpool who jokes, heals, dices, mercenaries, and other whacky don't do at home hijinks! It will keep you in the loop with dimensional writing! Fleshing out the characters, and much like Deadpool's healing factor, it'll sometimes shock you to the extent at which it is able. Times for Deadpool books is now, much like the youth in times of Spider-man, sarcasm dies harder than anything.
Deadpool is the masked assassin, and it takes the subtlety to be quiet when he is around, I literally think that he can't go without talking, or at least it would be very sobering to him; although, he is often lost in thought! I feel the wheels turning in his word bubbles, and I can smell the rubber burning!

Sarcasm by any other name would put you into a straitjacket with some time to use and think about what you had done. Deadpool doesn't hide in the corner, no, he explores his morals and character. Often taking up a fourth wall to abstain from the normal world building, thinking up his own in imagination. Those lucky breaks are not all coincidental but the experience from a late copper age to modern in order to feel confident in his skin, which is often peeling by the way. Those looked at and laughed panels withing the series keep those antics widespread as fiction to behold with a wide gauge. An automatic response is this sarcasm that runs amuck, but hey, it pays the bills otherwise accredited to THE Wade Wilson aka Deadpool of any time or era.

Signed Skottie Young on 6/9/13. Deadpool looks a lot like, "Earthworm Jim!" A character from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System! Doctor Strange and the Deadpool team-up cover by Skottie Young that speaks back to a whacky artist era, similar to the likes of "Sam Keith's Wolverine." It is a little cartoonish, which is the classic Skottie Young style, but this is still a different from the normal for Young. I want to say I got this at Dallas Fan Days 2016-17. It was the follow up to the 1st ever con I went to, which was a "smaller" one on the outskirts of Dallas. There weren't many slabs at this event, yet the ones that were there WERE affordable. Strapped for cash, yet excited out of my skull, I made some new acquisitions like this that made it all worthwhile. Those were the days when dealers wanted to offload, at current market they need to get back what they have into them, which was always the case just a steeper tipping point as of late!
Complete with back cover picture of the Taco truck die cast. These Deadpool figures are running around and getting hungry! Bought for me by my brother for taking him to GameStop! He's a Faithful brother.

Fabian Nicieza story. Mark Brooks & Shane Law art with a Rob Liefeld cover! Mark Brooks has come a long way since I first got back into collecting, and this issue might topmost for me. When thinking about getting back into collecting, I bought this series trade paperback as a starter. When I let loose in the 90's Deadpool was a nontraditional character and just starting out, so what better way to convince myself to get back in. Complete with Mr. Wade getting atomized or blown to smithereens, Ha-Ha, it "regenerated" my thirst of those funny books! That cover is a rendition brought to us by Rob that colors in the lines of wanting to read these comics, comics, comics, and again! Love of the medium can start from the most random, and yet, opportune moments in life, when one is willing and able to listen to the desires of one's own heart and take it to the bank! So to speak.
Complete with a back cover picture of a Fleer Ultra Marvel Card from the 90's, when I was opting to still collect, and now that CGC considers those favorable. It is all the fanfare we once knew, but now, with graded collectibles that take us to a new hunt for aspiring collectors and traditionalists alike!

NOOOOOOOBB!!! I was so naive buying this book in my early days ha! It's not even like I bought it raw and subbed it, I bought it slabbed, but it was a cover that I vaguely remembered from years earlier. I was so excited to see Deadpool get his own ongoing series to flesh out his character! Yes, it can happen to anyone, yet we must have reminders and learn. The Deadpool was popular in the 90's yet has only gained more popularity through films and other media. Ryan Reynolds has to be the best promoter that I've seen in quite a while. Hijinks and a regular frivolity will have us remembering his rendition of Wade Wilson for many decades. Even creators change their minds on intent, but we've got a history with comics and now Deadpool. Wade has even had his own video game, as well some action figures, so on that note I believe it is a significant contribution!
Wraparound Cover so it tries its best to present in "as is" condition, which is funny because it is true, and also, I've bought comics raw that also had that on the price sticker or sometimes even written on the cover itself!

Punisher Killed it first, now it is Deadpool's turn. There it is plain and simple and with a great art cover of the splash zone. We all must beware of a vigilante and their intent, always look to do the good and do it well. Deadpool is a killing machine rather, and following the Punisher seems to be a downfall. They both just do it so well. They are "good" at it? Wade Wilson or the Deadpool healing factor barely breaks a sweat when disposing some of earths mightiest heroes. Complete with how the designs to take the heroes out were established, in a short read that doesn't discuss a motive too much as he is too busy getting down to business. Mostly in person, and by his own hand! Chimichangas! It's time for the Wade Wilson to get his "mission accomplished." I found this and issue #2 in the $1 bins at a used bookstore, I didn't have them pressed but wanted to read them, and eventually sent for grading since they were cheap.
Complete with back cover picture of 2nd prints of issue #1 and #2, also only a couple of dollars. Campbell covers and now personal readers are replaced after slabbing the first prints!

Issue #2 and the Deadpool is still "killing the Marvel Universe!" Someone should have caught wind, figuratively or physically, of the mission! Time to get the Deadpool himself out of commission? Indeed, after the Punisher "did in" the universe with ease and without a healing factor, the Deadpool is proving that it can be done again. TO WHAT END? WHAT PURPOSE? The Deadpool is kicking arse and taking the names down on his hitlist one by one! I found this and issue #1 in the dollar bins at a used bookstore, I did not have them pressed though. The colors and paper looked well off and vibrant enough that I'm satisfied in grade. Most of all I got to read them and since this is half of the run, I got most of the story, but perhaps the rest will be added later. VF, very fine it is! For the win, it has been a minute since I've found something so close to my collecting habits but find stuff I have and shall!
Complete with the back cover picture of the "Deadpool Watch" that I wore through college! Safe Keeping!

1st appearance of the Deadpool 2099! (Warda Wilson) Yes, to revisit these thoughts and ideas from the 90's are the precursor to getting some nostalgia hold in the hobby. It takes the appreciation of the old to kick start a long run of fun for the new. Time to kick the dust jacket off some books and revisit some holograms and such. Fun for all ages. Is 2099 too soon? A long time from now? Whatever your philosophical bent, it's halfway open or shut to the future. I picked it up in store when it came out because it hit the feels for good old fashion time, universe, or other types of travel. Time to flesh out the Deadpool character, 90's style. These can't be forgotten, as those goals going forward will continue to inspire. Looking back, not enough was utilized for the "2099 characters", yet there is time. We just need not to strain and break our eyeglasses like in the epic showings of the Twilight Zone!
Complete with the Deadpool and swords drawn gallery statue that was comfortably priced. I bought it from GameStop and put it up as the back cover pic! I love that he is still kicking up the dusty storm. It's a whirlwind.

1st of lady and several other Deadpool's. Classic Cover in my opinion. I got this at the first con that I ever went to back at Dallas Fan Days in 2015, which then advertised the next first ever "big Comic Con" that I went to immediately after this one. The actress that play's XENA (Lucy Lawless) on TV was to be there, at the smaller con, along with her sidekick! We had heard about it on the radio and had an impromptu desire to attend. Even though it was the week of the con, we secured tickets last minute. I took my brother and we've been going ever since! I was a Deadpool fan from way back. To see this issue available for sale melted my heart. To see new renditions of the "Wade" and to see the art style was fresh and invigorating. I was pumped at this con to find something that was memorable and made new memories. Definitely, I can find it in the 90's style of this book, with what looks to be a "Trainspotting" homage cover. The days of homages trace back to mid 19th century, just when something is so good that people think that it is worth imitating, you'll always have what we like to call "throw backs!" To the good old days!
Wraparound Cover so it stays sitting pretty with both pictures!

Duane Swierczynski story, Pepe Larraz art, and J. Scott Campbell cover! An early drive in this 2024 April to pick up for $135 out the door from Titan Comics. We need a little Campbell and even Deadpool in our lives every once in a while, even if for about FMV! It takes all kinds in the collection, and with X-force being a prominent team of times past, an approximate variant that is possibly ratioed at 1:25? I'm not sure, but variants abounded before my time back, as this 2014 edition shows! Glad to do research and go back to the roots of artists, even if the "variants" per se are abundant, in 9.8 I'll take some nice art that is well preserved. Deadpool has somewhat a start in X-force, in the collection and in comics after New Mutants #98, and it is only logical to give it the old "pick up" for the win! Time is telling if these Deadpool video games and ephemera being spread around will hold the attention of the wildly rambunctious!
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of, "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes!" This is possibly the 1st of its "kind" that I'll see in theaters. I'm sure the movie's eye roll acting of apes can actually play out as sarcasm and with flinging Deadpool quips on the brain for me, that are reminiscent of the "ape kind of crazy" within comics! Deadpool always comes along for the mission, even when it is biological discrepancies or for saving the world! It takes a troop, which is a group of apes with keen observations, and or an innovative solution when talking about a future that is runover by the past, that is alluding to an evolution of slapstick somewhere!
