Joker Tec Cover. Legendary Bats artist Dick Sprang with a surrealist cover of the dynamic duo chasing a house-napping Joker. Issue #102 is one of four different Tec issues that is found preserved in the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History. Condition-wise, this is an outstanding specimen from August 1945, when the Golden Age of comics emerged from the end of World War II and entered the dawn of the Atomic age.

Joker Tec Cover and a classic one at that ! In this issue, the Crime Clown known as the Joker commits "royal flush"- themed crimes. Dick Sprang drew the Ace of Knaves on the cover, while Howard Sherman supplied interior art for the Batman story. A well-executed cover featuring the King and Queen of Spades firing those smokin' Thompson submachine guns, a weapon made infamous during the prohibition era when gangsters like Al Capone and outlaws such as John Dillinger dominated headlines in America.

Joker Tec Cover by the DC team of Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson. This one reflects the time when the campy TV series ran on the airwaves. During the climactic fistfights in each episode, the punches and other impacts were punctuated by onomatopoeia (sound effects) superimposed in bright colors over the action on the screen, like in this comic-book scenes ("BAM!", "POW!", "ZONK!", etc.). This is a beautiful silver age Joker cover Bats book with its violet purple color.

Joker Tec Cover by Irv Novick. This one was issued to celebrate the 30th anniversary of DC's flagship title and was the last of the 12 cents covers. Love this one as it features the two most valuable Bats book, Detective Comics #27 and Batman #1. A tough book in high-grade because of the black cover and miswrap issue. This perfectly centered jet black gem is just about as perfect as I could have hoped for !

Joker Tec Cover. This fantastic lunar-theme cover featuring the Joker and his laser beams was issued at the height of the Space Race during the Cold War. Neil Armstrong would make his giant leap for mankind when he took his 'small' step for man, becoming the 1st homo sapien to step foot on the moon.

Joker Tec cover from the late-Norm Breyfogle (1960-2018) R.I.P. During his time on “Detective Comics,” Breyfogle’s darker and suspenseful style gave the series an edge and helped bring DC Comics’ Batman artwork into the ’90s. His art served as a passing of the torch of sorts: He represented a new generation of Batman artists after the fan-favorite ’70s and ’80s artistic run of legendary artist Jim Aparo.

Joker Tec Cover by legendary GA Bats artist Dick Sprang who also had the coolest name :) Jokes aside, his Batman was notable for his square chin, expressive face and barrel chest. Comics historian Les Daniels wrote that Sprang's clean line and bold sense of design set him apart as the supreme stylist of the early Batman artists.
