Set Description:
The 1st FF I read as a kid was # 20, the 1st Molecule Man, with a heavy Watcher presence! This guy was cool, although he clearly violated the "Prime Directive" that the Watcher's were supposed to honor-he whisked away the Molecule Man at the end of the battle, quite presumptuously! Anyway, being a Star Trek fan since season 1 in 1965-66 I was now hooked on one key Marvel Group, the Fantastic Four!
When they giant cover of a watcher preceeded the intro to the Silver Surfer, I had then become a Marvel junkie on one character, the Silver Surfer. My emphasisi on this s et was 1-50, then trhrough 60 with 72-77, then I added a few keys like the Panther and the 1st HIM, and now I am about 75% complete with the run and I am happy to acknowledge my relatively small but continuing love affair with a mainline Marvel group!
