Super-Monkey (Beppo) 1st appearance. OK, I appreciate the joke in Smallville about how many characters from Krypton keep showing up...and I REALLY appreciate that John Byrne re-wrote the origins storyline to eliminate all the "extra" characters from Krypton, BUT--I ALSO apprciate that I found what I think is still the highest copy of Superboy 76 on the census raw and had it graded myself!

Not to mention, a great looking purple cover!
The issue is also the 1st appearance of Pete Ross, the loyal friend (who looked like a blond version of Jimmy Olsen!) with the uncomfortable task of guarding Superboy's secret identity (which he discovered in Superboy 90).
