"National Diamond Insert!" Valkyrie joins the Defenders. Black Knight, Executioner and Enchantress appearance. I have the Valkyrie character in an Avengers issue, but I needed a follow up issue to show her usefulness! I chose "The Defenders." Displaying the cover with power, might, and hopefully keeping up with the motivation of "team" spirit. She claims to need none other than herself, we all have to keep an ear out for those battle cries. Keep an eye out for the victories, because at the heart of it all we might find the "spirit" of the Defenders. In a way though, they keep us morally taught to help others or stay confident, and hopefully they help a team or others and not out for self-glory. With a National Diamond Insert bought raw at Fan Expo Dallas 2021, and it spent several months at CGC but when they came back, I agreed with the grade estimates. HAHA Glad to have summed up the submission at the advertised 7.0 from the Comic Con dealer and LCS Duncanville Bookstore. It ended up the same and without a press!
 A horse is a horse, of course, of course, and none have wings that I'm aware of unless it's Valkyrie!  Picked up 2022, Comic-Con!
Complete with a back cover picture of the "new" Valkyrie, indeed she is as peaceable a heroine as any. $2 finds from Half Price Books, that frequently is flowing with new comics, but mostly randoms.

30 Cent Price Variant! THE Defenders. It was a Netflix Series, among all the ones they could have chosen for it, it wasn't too bad. I finally started seeing "The Defender's" books show up at Keiths Comics my Local Comic Shop! I snagged this Price Variant in the Dollar box; it's not in bad shape considering! Got to take what we can get sometimes. Finding price variants is still new, I've only fairly recently become accustomed to the different types. Bronze age is easier for the most part to determine. Defenders! They've got the mission, although they are not always friendly to each other, and they seem to always be changing members ha-ha. It is all in a day's work to some heroes whether they be of the slab, priced, or dollar bin variety. All shapes and sizes, as even free give aways have their day in the sun as collectables!
Complete with a back cover picture of Defenders #2 that was a great pick up and read, as it is the beginning of other members being associated, which was a Keith's Comics find that got me introduced to the Defenders comic style!

SIGNED BY J.M. DEMATTEIS ON 6/5/21. Squadron Supreme appearance. J.M. DeMatteis story. Don Perlin & Mike Gustovich art. Don Perlin & Steve Mitchell cover. Too Many, Heroes! Tagline in the upper left of the cover, all for the confessions of the milkshake that is a tip of the hat. Remember to say high when that flesh and bone come back, because it just may be the closest to Jesus you get. Well Defenders, the ones of busy like covers, and by none other than Don Perlin with J.M. who also wrote for the Rolling Stone but critiqued the Grateful Dead and quit after backlash. Well, that makes those eternal ponderings of the heart and mind sound just as guardians to the soul with strength in guidance, as you get when hated for expressions of sweet nothings, that are public displays. It isn't something garnered always with praise, like a parsley garnish or radish, or even chocolate sauce. No, the deserts are deserted and left to defend another long for this world soul to remember that as the outside world blows up it is only to see and seek the bigger picture of the individual. On one hand at the give and taking, and the other, the time to not let the right know what the left is doing.
 A 50-pound parrot on the shoulder singing the praise of "Here kitty, kitty!" When the angels fear to trod it is the humanity that is suffered and prodded for its own self-seeking freedom of glory when the king gets back in town. He is never totally vacated but always vindication unto His, but no one will even bare the bearing up of that much, except they know too.
Complete with a back cover picture of when it went to 35 cents pretty quickly with this series and then here at issue #113 60 cents. Could it have been the "power principle?" Remember to carry the "3" when in walks a new "Red Guardian!
