Set Description:
This Iron's for You! This is where we set apart time for the Tony Starks and others to flesh out a popular character, the IRON MAN. It's a suit, to keep defenses for the U.S.A. and all the downtrodden, the idea of a better tomorrow! That reality is not lost on this series, that holds true and faces front. The series can have all its hang-ups in the hero's lives, yet they keep plugging with new innovative ways. No one is taking it lying down, no, everyone stands and carries tradition down the inevitable path of the Iron Man.
Hot tempered as with the suit, Tony Stark still salutes good will and the effort of many, he does try to live by example, although it isn't his will that he lives by sometimes.

Request for mercy comes in the way of attitude, and by one's own heroic sacrifice can it become accommodating! Whether through intuition or a thereby authority, it is granted or left up to the reader of longtime illustrator's. The will of an Iron Man makes the scarceness this off brand of justice. Tony Stark often needs to cut himself some slack but wills not too to be considered weak of himself or his own accord. Yes, he has a will made of iron, but it too can bend and become soft when not as impenetrable, it only takes more love. Tony is shown as being a classic male of the alpha variety. He finds that his weaknesses are not as apparent after trying so hard and therefore is very stubborn. Foolhardy but yet sure of himself, he doesn't want to take a day off when he could be out avenging with friends and hoping the vacation will come of its own accord when some evil is vanquished. He still spends his time tinkering and with the mechanical, but love is a tender reed that he needs to be shown it is not broken!

1st appearance of Thanos and Drax the Destroyer! (Arthur Douglas) Keith's comics find, support your local comic shop through this pandemic 2020. Yes Thanos, he is cosmic. He thinks himself the caretaker, yet the savior. How can it be, that this would be Titan would want to ruin everyone's day!?! Eventually it will come to the name of death, and the supposed prolonging of life as a result even! He's been given an opportunity and takes it upon himself to bring it to pass. Keeping close knit, he takes to task the plan and execution. Thoughtful and pragmatic, this bully will see it to the end. Given media attention and subsequent movie and comic fandom, this rising star has to be put away post haste. Longing for his own nostalgia, Thanos is keeping his attitude and promise. It is what he came for, seen as either selfish or thought provoking. Heroes decide, much like Magneto, who may be an ultimate villain in his own right. Firsts come and go, but collectors usually remember and cherish the thrill of the hunt!
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of "Arthur the King!" Another Arthur the same as Drax and thought of as the same in loyalty in film too that takes on the dependability of a team. Whether it be competing for a prize or revenge that turns into forgiveness for the sake of the greater good, it would be hard to find one as loyal as an Arthur!

1st appearance of James Rhodes signed by Bob Layton 04/28/06 at Paradise Toronto Comic-Con! White Pages! When troubles come for Tony Stark, the only replacement may be the closest ally. Given the rumors, this is the 1st ever replacement. Speaking of placement, take a look at that signature, very well done. Layton brings it home and has a reputation. Sometimes good, anything I've seen by him has been well done. He has a memorable volume of work, maybe a sketch somewhere and somehow would be in order. Meanwhile, a War Machine is on the horizon in these issues, because life demanded it, poor Tony has a hard enough time "alone" drinking in his day to day. Those will send you for a loop and it will soon come to a needed fixing, if Tony is to regain his composure from the stress and other pressures remaining the hero called Iron Man! Oh Yeah!
Complete with back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of, "Fall Guy!" A stunt man with mixed feelings about an ex and movie director finds himself in the call of duty in real-time, as the stuntman job experience is called up for real life translation! Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt share the explosion of being a novice and in love. While in this issue James Rhodes, the novice, is on call for the backup variety, stunts, and otherwise will power that test the nerves of being a contender for the weaponized armor, kind of like an Iron Man, War Machine, Metal Mania-Knighthood!

Alcoholism Story Ends. A relatively sneaky monster that lurks at the bottom. Knowing these issues, and with all the super-heroes with the "problems", it will take a different kind of strategy to be the victor of the battle! Keeping it relevant, with nerves of Iron, MAN! Sometimes the nerves or stomach could use a bit of grape, we've got the recovery proven in it. Health is all about taking the time to sort through the issues. Tony had a lot going on, internally and outwardly, no way to Express things can be abusive in itself. The pressure of the Iron made man, was it superficial? Tony came back and kept his understanding, in the end he's as good on screen as in comics. No looking back when you're considered a hero, it is most often life and death "effects". Not only by reputation, but also, the wits need be sharp and responsive in the blink of an eye! Keep looking up! Thank you, Marvel!
Complete with a back cover picture of our motto in Texas, which is a fenced fury and light a candle to enjoy it! Those are the breaks sometimes with alcohol and moderation, everyone's "moderate detector warning" is fenced to themselves at different grace levels and proportions!
Grader Notes:
light bends to cover;
light spine stress lines to cover;
very light creasing to cover.

Jim Rhodes replaces Tony Stark as "Iron Man." A perfect example of how: black covers can hide "staining!" Oye Vay, it isn't easy to trust a LCS grading. I could have sworn that this was going to come back 9.6, c'est la vie. It will eventually turn around for me, and I needed this to complete the Jim (James) Rhodes section of my Iron Man collection. I may need to keep an eye out for another, now that RiRi is displaying some culpability. The rest of the gang too! I've set my eyes upon them, a hammer in the grading room is not going to keep me down. ONWARD! Rhodes is viable enough as the Iron Man, until Tony finally gets back in shape. Rhodes then travels on down the line as the newly formed War Machine, and I've been able to obtain nice copies of those issues too! That isn't to say for sure that a press would have helped, but if the only grader's notes are "light bends", then it stands to reason on this copy, ahem, PROBABLY!
Complete with a back cover picture of a dice or board game called "HEROCLIX" that makes some miniatures. It keeps up as some kind of trinkets that can hurt if stepped on, ha, but that again means with a little articulation one can have appreciation for all genres!
Grader Notes:
light bends to cover;
moderate staining to cover.

1st James Rhodes as Iron Man, I keep wanting to confuse this with Randy Rhodes, which I think was the guitarist for Ozzy Osborne lol, but Iron Man has to exist somehow, in both Comics and in Metal! or at the least Hard Rock! He's learning his lesson well enough to take the mantle. Is this what it takes to prove it? Trial by fire, we've done it before, but under our own circumstances and to each his own. The reward hopefully outweighs the trials. Given the issues prior, James takes it into account but responds immediately. If we'd all be that gutsy, and not "have to" out of necessity. Courage and things like the future of RiRi takes on meaning too, after admiring the Iron that makes a man or a woman. Seems pressable and 9.4 seems harsh almost. An older label at that makes me wonder "what if!" I'm not sure, but a signing could be in order. I mostly only get books pressed during signings.
Complete with a back cover picture of the first appearance of the niece of James, with "Lila!" er... Rhodes. Woohoo in Iron Patriot #1, bought at the cover price DVD store.

1st appearance of the War Machine Armor!! lol I got this by the seat of my pants, a Titan Comics LCS find. You'd laugh, for the longest time I thought this cover was of the War Machine in Defeat, because of the lighter color of Iron Man on the cover. Ha-Ha! I've since learned that my eyes did deceive me. I owe my brother $60 for the assist on this pick-up! Ah sweet irony the cameo appearance, and what would become a part 2, so to speak, of the Iron Man story. We have RiRi now, who is young and a bit freer spirited, genuinely. In the 80's and 90's it was all, how big is your gun? Anyway, for a while there some local comic shops were dealing mostly online, but Titan comics was having only advertisements for in store. When I saw this slab posted I immediately got in the car to drive and get there before they opened. I deemed that a necessary newsstand, so the LCS was happy that advertisements were working!
Complete with a back cover picture of a prescreen movie promo giveaway poster of Terminator: Dark Fate! Before released to theaters, and why I hold onto these as keepsakes is because of memories and the registry to facilitate the transfer of heroes! From RiRi to John Connor, look around every twist and cinematic turn.

1st full appearance of the War Machine! Tony suits up first as the 1st ever Iron Man, for the onslaught we all knew an iron suit was made for! Taking it to task a few issues later, with Rhodey as the War Machine! These weapons are an enhancement yet not quite overkill! Bought from boardie Stormshadow_80. Well, it's still up to James to continue if he wants, now that Tony is back doing the dew. I like RiRi in the future too. Keeping that temperament in life is tough, but knowing, reading, or learning from struggles can help. Inspiring? For the War Machines of the day, it is the same old same old. Hopefully it doesn't become too much of a drive or focus and become the only thing in their lives. Take it to the big screen and bring some justice and an expected end. Similarly, "Psychotherapy," a song by the Ramones! It comes to mind, but morals can be learned from comics too!
Complete with a back cover picture of THE MOVIE IRON MAN on DVD, that basically started and kicked off movie goers to the limits of what CGI could do at the time. The Marvel Cinematic Universe started with AC/DC in a Humvee in the desert!
