There are some 1st appearances in them their hills. Like it or not, these promotions are, or could be, good for the hobby. Get the people into the brick and mortars and give away some comics. Just make them worth the effort. Those ratty tatty comics were built sturdier than once thought! Give your Local Comic Shop some love. I'm blessed to live in a large metropolitan area, and there is enough LCS to go around. Even still, there are a few areas that I'd proposition a LCS to open if it were all that easy to accomplish! Ha!

It is fun for the entire family, nothing beats Free Comic Book Day to take your kids, girl or boyfriends, spouses, or even the neighbor's dogs to cats! Always the 1st Saturday in May!

Free! Free! Free! It is possible to expect the unexpected when palling around at the Local Comic Store. Owners are inbound to serve it up right at their front door! How's about a comic or two, and a fan favorite title at that, to take home and enjoy on your own time. Spend as much time as needed in store as well, maybe making a contribution in statue, slab, or even sometimes posters or clothing. It is a rite of passage that reminds us that forever young are the ways of heroes. They come in all shapes and sizes, with many unrecognizable in plain clothes! Who knows what super heroines may be looking to stop crime or even read their own stories by DC, Marvel, and or other. Some may come suited up as well in their Sunday best, to show out and especially if there is a guest artist and or creator visiting. These and many other a twist and turn on Free Comic Book Day! Check your local listings!

1st appearance of Ulysses Cain & Nadia Pym (the new Wasp). Peradventure collectables extend to Free Comic Book Day? It's nice to see Local Comic Shop promotions get some love. Bring in the clutter and bring in the want or drive! We've all got ambition, sometimes pent up, and we've got to all do some soul searching. If the Wasp can get it together, then it's up to us to make it stick. This Ulysses is going for broke too, so we've got the double the 1st appearance fun, with double mint gum. Yes it isn't always the 1sts collected, and often past over on the free stuff. I like that the free spirit runs wild, and I'm glad it is of use. If not for worse than for betterment of the readers, and or, collectors. I've got to keep my LCS in good spirits, if it wasn't for them, I'd have gone to other things for therapy. These pages are the bond that keeps, and sometimes gives back with that nice memorable fandom!
Complete with the back cover picture with the inside deets on the "New Wasp", from the label notation. Pic is from my reader copy that I got from the Local comic shop, Keith's Comics, who has had several copies for sale since, all good.

Free Comic Book Day! Spider-man/Venom/Carnage. Looks to be the beginning of something sweet. Hope Carnage gets the best of them? It's up to the Spiders to sort it out, if the trouble is worth the grief. Good ole Charlie Brown got a rock sometimes, Good Grief, its wawawawawawawaw. Spider-man and the developing stories, for Free Comic Book Day, and for the start to this introduction of Miles Morales. Getting the stern look from Miles, as Peter is becoming the teacher of old. Who are you? Was a nice the Who song. Will it be double trouble for Carnage, or a triple threat for Venom to be included. Time is on their side, as the countdown begins. Tick Tock. Making the grade, a 9.6, gives these 15 points, for a cover that tells of the angst, when the student surpasses the teacher. Carnage learning lesson 101! That is today's lesson.
Complete with a back cover picture from the old reader copy of this issue. Friends enjoying a pizza and success! No wonder people are loving these fresh takes and characters!

1st appearance of Bloodline (Brielle). Who is presumably Blade's Daughter, I have some raws as well donated to me by boardie PunisherPunisherPunisher. Glad to have friends who help the collection and in turn can get a flow their way as well. I'm excited for anything Blade related, and it's been some time since a version or rendition has been portrayed properly. With CGC label notations quickly added and the buzz of any film or media, I assume people are wanting to have these in their collection. I was quick to recognize and pick it up, like 3 copies that I still need to submit, but I kept some raw to be able to add a back cover picture of the "insides!" What a development is this 2022 FCBD. Featuring the buzz words of the year, with: Avengers, X-men, Blade, and a daughter newcomer! Glad to buy a slab off Ebay, even at $62 shipped! Friends are happy, and I'm glad it is working out to close out the year. Merry Christmas 2022!

Free Comic Book Day 2024 exclusive. Happened upon your Local Comic Shop (LCS), on the 1st weekend of May? Any year around that time, it is then the right time to acquire free reading material for comics, comics, comics! Those tables spread out before you, with some a limit or some none, and free to spy the covers to pick the ones that look interesting to yourself and take home for FREE. While thinking of family and friends or even pets for an excursion of book worm proportions and taking in the atmosphere of the LCS and to read the illustrations brought out from year to year. That doesn't stop you or others from perusing the rest of the store and ephemera to be bought as well! Won this from CGC in a social media contest, which is "ultimately" within any Spider-man's reach here this 2024, and with the Doctor's of Doom around resounding their overlord requests to get to the store and read some funny pages. All for a year and then to do it all again! To train someone in the way they should go, and when older they will not depart, the morals of yesteryear on into the reading of style and fashion!
Complete with a back cover picture of more Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) frivolity brought this way circa 2024! Won these in a CGC social media contest, that took a hard look at the events of the year and why we hold them in earnest toward facilitating the art of reading while having fun with it too! Diecast FCBD Van that is sure to give the track record some burnt rubber, and some enamel pins straight from the CGC vault of goodies! All while filling bags, shipping boxes, and hearts with the cost of Free-Spirited Merchandise! Vroom-vroom!
