Set Description:
Here are some "noirs", and a brand or type of comic, that in my opinion can offset the pace, which are brought to us by fairy tale writer Bruce Timm. He has a unique style that captures the cartoon side of things with more rounded curves, in a plotline as well that is, and that opinion might be due to the introductions that we had from him drawing for Batman the Animated series. Here are some risk-taking examples at writing, as well, and it sums up nicely with a bit of thriller type scenarios. These grifters of the senses will have to get what they're after in this series, All Crime Comics!
Bruce Timm has withstood the test of time, and has gone from surrealist to realizations unknown, but again through many genres and niches.
Noir and other crime type comic stories of an oriented fashion are not as dated as one might think, but have been done over and again, with some calling for a break in the cycle lest we all become cynical and afraid. I can admit to watching the NCIS and other crime dramas, but nothing, however, is so taken aback like seeing it play out in film with background music and or other mood setters. While comics on the other hand are their own stage of a person's imagination, and at some point, one needs a ground wire in something stable and or positive, in order to still keep the spark of life. While the comics make some of the crime "interesting" and or fun for a while and as often as the villain is needed to "escape" to "crime another day", it isn't the ultimate goal of the story telling. The action can seem like that we navigate with our heroes through every twist and turn toward a conclusion. Some of the fun in comics is trying to figure out who the heroes actually are, and while on "print of an illustration", it can still feel like a text that you read the wrong way and which in turn is interpreted differently by another reader. Thus is the circle of comic reading with individual fans and buddies alike, while conversing together over some interests and in some common bond. Those that indulge can nerd out to those Noir type dramas and mysteries!

Bruce Timm and Noir? A fictional portrayal of the crime ridden streets, the mean ones, that take us (more...)Bruce Timm and Noir? A fictional portrayal of the crime ridden streets, the mean ones, that take us all by a bit of gullibility and sometimes deceit! Those nefarious fiends! These characters have created a problem for themselves, and they would have got away with it too, if not for those pesky lawmen. Indeed, walking on the wild side has its issues too. Can't be caught up in that kind of way, better get out before it is too late! Sometimes we learn from our mistakes, but at what cost? These seedy noirs can teach, and or, tell us of those crimes, that keep us learning we ourselves have been had. At some time or another, we've all been at the giving and receiving. Those of us who can decline those actions are the better for it, in the end. We can watch the NCIS and root for the heroes with the badge. Sometimes the telling of "tales" down through the generations can give insight on the history. Noir! Found at a DVD store in raw form at $4 cost. It was a keeper to begin with at that cost, now a Near mint slab.
This is how the All-Crime Series plays out!
Complete with a back cover picture of the first go around by Terry Moore, with the art and style, not quite as moody, but picked up also in the bin dives. The highlights with the danger zone!

Those of "noir" that can't avoid the vibe of a thrill ride, and it takes those curves along life's lonesome road to curb the enthusiasm. Lighting the stage of a full complete set, too!? Those spicy bullets interweaving the cabin and beware of the turbulence among those free to move about, as those twists will keep a three issue limited series riveted within the skies and lives. Bruce Timm graces us with his eerie covers and by way of making those covers pop, with manufactured wear and tear that can consume the iteration into readers minds. Making a mark in those collections of recent pasts that somehow got away from them at the time, only to somewhat be found within the bins of nostalgia now years after and making the grade for a second look and quick grab. The uniforms and the pastel colors can make it seem like it is a fitting period "piece" as well, and not just a smoking gun!
"Flight Risk!" A Movie Starring Mark Wahlberg and Topher Grace, Lions Gate Ent. Inc. circa 2024-2025. Troubled Times with Pilots, Movie Promo Swag. Socks?!
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass to the movie before released to theaters, of real-life noir in, "September 5th!" As the Olympics and or sporting events present themselves an opportunity! These would be low life's call towards a real-life hostile event, and do the cameras dare break away from the main event towards coverage of importance?

Brad Rader & Jeff Snow art. Bruce Timm cover. Shattered lives that have lived out their fancy, and (more...)Brad Rader & Jeff Snow art. Bruce Timm cover. Shattered lives that have lived out their fancy, and only to see the inevitable demise of those broad avenues of turmoil and destruction. Bruce Timm calling in the heroes that may not seem in in similitude of the situation but dare to brave their conscience in turning back and towards the light! Is it because they themselves are now deceased? Carrying a burden is typical "noir" but none so shabby a moral can be discussed without lessons of retribution, and if forgiveness is to be found, it may just be among the wreckage. Not to hold back the winding spiral, Bruce makes his case for the situation, and a formidable venture for the veteran of comics, comics, comics. A complete set now, and despite any grade difference or disparages, it is one that started from the diving bins in issue #1 and found its fans among the registries! This being a "square bound" issue, I'm thinking it must have suffered some "heat" for those grader notes?
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass to the movie before released to theaters of, "Amateur!" To paraphrase Mike Tyson and in noir type fashion, "Everyone thinks they're a 'pro' until they get punched in the mouth!" Rami Malek, the actor, is back on a leash for this movie rendition of the simple man training to take action, when the bosses won't do their job!
Grader Notes;
moderate re-activated glue stain spine. (less...)
