One of the coolest 1-shots of the golden age! First, there's something about those yellow covers that just stand out. Besides that we've got a bi-plane chasing down some OPIUM smugglers! How friggin' cool is that! The more obscure the book the more I have to have it, so this one was high on my want list! I love this one! :D

A somewhat rare in nice grade LB Cole cover, and back cover too! This one-shot features a few planes on a bomb run while taking in some flack on a bright yellow cover. The poster-colored planes on the back cover with plane designations and descriptions are also cool! Something similar to some of his Contact covers, while the front looks like it could have been an issue of Captain Flight

One of the tougher romance titles to track down from Star, this two-issue run of course has LB Cole covers. Here we have a close-up of two lovers pondering their future in a club featuring one of Cole primary colored backgrounds. Currently only 2 higher on the census, and those are barely above this copy, with only 7 total.

The second and last issue of this small run and I think the cooler of the two. Cole used the swirling effect a few times on his romance books, evoking a confusing and tumultuous thrill-ride that is falling in and out of love! This issue being notoriously hard to find I settled on this copy, unfortunately having one major crease that otherwise would have left me with an outstanding copy. 1 in the same 4.0, 2 higher, and currently only 6 total on the census!
