Set Description:
Showing a progression of art, and what became accentuated in the Turner era with DC. Michael Turner is still considered to be one of the finer lines when it comes to art, consistency, and draw from fans of the time. This still being the Rebirth Series, Michael Turner covers showed it wasn't long ago that Harley was yacking it up Joker Style! Michael Turner even got a "say", postmortem, in some Harley Quinn covers! She wasn't long ago a joking duo!
Michael Turner Covers! Everyone needs a good rebirth, from one point in life anyway. This is the Turner so to speak to break away from the New 52 and leave that story be. With new stories from old favorites like two-face, we can expect the writing to look forward not backward. A classic feel, with thin lines and a bit of color.
Two Face and other villains can't escape this page turner, "oh, brother!"
The Batman is still doing all he can, to keep the puns at bay.
Turn, Turn, TURN, to every season, and seemingly any Michael Turner book, there are sketches, sigs and moody slim lines that capture characters!
From the 52 weeks of 2011 now springs a "REBIRTH!"
2016 and letting it go in a nutshell, as the Batman could spell his own surmise if not for the new crime, and that ever-beckoning call to "become the night."
Gotham once again shows the need for Batman although it has occurred to him before, he now finds the sense of purpose renewed. Will it suffice to have discipled disciplines? The saving grace is reading and in between the lines by what saving glory it has all come about, as the immortal question for a Bruce Wayne remains. Do I dawn the Bat's Cowl? Forever? "Once upon a Gotham City!" Living it up as Bruce Wayne is always a choice, though almost buried, as Batman here by way of leaning hard on a support group is looking for a listening ear. The villains are taking advantage by portraying their betrayal and making it look so sincere. The only one that has been through it all, in short, is Batman and Gotham city, who knows if this is the "last dance, until death do, we part!"

Michael Turner cover with color, and really another great pose that seems moody to me. I was introduced to Michael Turner with this issue, and it made a lasting impression! Starts the series anew and makes the new 52 a sweet memory, but it's in the past, the Batman has the solitude to have survived this far. Seriously, the Batman picks up the series to let the past go, in short, get out your "batarang" cause here we go again! All too time consuming, the Batman is gaining this series off the backs of great writers. Not everyone's favorite, but the "New 52" had some fans, and this "Rebirth" has some big shoes to fill. It went for quite a few issues, and I think everyone was thankful that the "reboots" had stopped for the time being! Intently moody is the Dark Knight that strikes first with intent as well. Michael Turner stuff will run out in time, but his art is confident and sure.
Showing a progression of art, and what became accentuated in the Turner era with DC. Michael Turner is still considered to be one of the finer lines when it comes to art, consistency, and draw from fans of the time.
Complete with a back cover picture of the Batman statue as he is hysterically serious as the TMNT are in party time! Buttons of olden days, but back when those were marketed, as they are novelty items and in almost all collections!

Michael Turner black and white sketch cover, and another 9.8 sketch cover booyah! The simpleness of it makes it moodier! This makes it more attractive to me! This is the first book that I submitted to CGC straight off the rack, and I'm glad that it came back 9.8! White covers can be unforgiving. And the somber solitude the cover speaks of, is a glass raised to new beginnings; although, it all tries to start the same as the classics, it is different than the New 52 series. Michael Turner is a well-known artist that got early fame in the 90's. With sleek presentation, that man could draw. RIP. They use some of his sketches to make covers, and with the generic material, it can still be widely useful. Still the amount of material will run out sooner or later. Giving props to the man, I guess. Coming after the New 52 rendition of making the past a creeper!
Neal Adams worked on a short series of Batman called "Black and White", with a similar fashion of covers back in 2013. In 2016, or thereabouts, he signed this copy for me and charged more for the tamperproof sticker than his signature! It is to show its "authenticity!"
Complete with a back cover picture of "Batman Arkham City" and that kind of vein, we've got the hook, now all we need is the dawn of night for his cowl! Even in Newsstand on the Dark Knight, we've got to CGC and slab the prospects of good reads, including all kinds of series. It strikes a chord with rebirth as a look back at the past and new!

$3.99 Newsstand "Edition." Batman Proposes to Catwoman. One of the first that I submitted under my own CGC account, and so happy to see that it came back in 9.8! Price variants are a niche, but to me they are new and exciting! The LCS built a whole celebration party around this issue. Complete with banners and cupcakes, the LCS thought finally "it" had happened! They were sorely disappointed, as the answer left questions of the future for the "Bats and Cats" of the universe. The distraught caused was a major upset, when they understood the answer to the marriage proposal and why. Some of our favorites can't change! Given the results of the proposal, time will tell if this story holds up; although, in DC Super Stars the Catwoman and Batman duo are already married, so pick and choose your battles! Sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants.
She-Hulkesque type of cover, and a reminder of spoilers with those that just can't help themselves but have got to know!
Complete with back cover picture of the direct version "under copy reader!" I had to show the insides to captivate! What was going on at the time, was a need for some normalcy in Batman or a constant. It took brandishing a ring that Catwoman stole the first time these two met, and that Bruce Wayne bought afterward to make him keep his cool, which is over the top. Love is complicated but when worried about one thing out of your control, often the other things within reach seem to take your mind off the major issue. Can't call the emotion a check-out, just have to prove that LOVE HAS BEEN THERE ALL ALONG! Now for 3 more issues of beach houses in the rain! Ha-Ha!

1st Appearance of Punchline in Cameo (face not revealed). Regular Cover! DC is ramping it up with this and the whole "Joker War" storyline. Well, I've still not seen the ultimate development to the Harley and Punchline saga. I'm sure its meant to be ongoing regardless, and not just a flash in the pan. This Asian origin and knock-knock teller is giving room. Harley will be her own woman and the joke is still awaiting the Punch line! The bonds aren't all there to see if the Joker is faithful to just one girl, when he takes what he wants, and or can get. The violence has its beginning in yet another, whom may have had a motive to be her "own demise!" Punchline takes herself into account when considering relationships, but someday like any other, may say, "What have I got myself into!" We all hope that comes sooner or later, yet the Batman has been the only to never give up on rehabilitation! Give or take a few issues.
This volume is still the rebirth series, and Michael Turner even got a "say" in some Harley Quinn covers! She wasn't long ago a joking duo!
Complete with a back cover picture of, "The Harley Quinn!" She may be "done with the Joker", but that doesn't stop her from dawning different harlequin outfits throughout the years! A DC Collectibles Bombshells Exclusive, bought from Titan Comics a Local Comics Shop.

1st cameo of Punchline. Mattina offers a great up close battle frame, will the Batman prevail? Let's hear the joke, but now the punchline!! The Joker is a user and a murderer, who would dare take a "spot" next to him? Knowing that he will always insist on being top jokester. The give and take tug-a-war has started and only the females can spurn plot twists, the imagination wonders what it all could mean for the future of relationships within the DC universe. Knowing there are now team-ups among people who would claim to care for another, but can't allow that "weakness in their life!" As the artist Mattina has been working the Con circuits, and coming up with new art, he has a following. While he has a "style" it doesn't stand out other than it looks really nice, so he needs some significant or key issues under his work history, in my opinion. Sketch art or published, it is all professional!
This still being the Rebirth Series, Michael Turner covers showed it wasn't long ago that Harley was yacking it up Joker Style!
Complete with a back cover picture of what the Harley Quinn book looked like during this era, so to speak, with a J. Scott Campbell cover! She was throwing out the Joker with the trash and looking for new love and experiences!

Punchline!!! The Ratio cover, we get "a glimpse into the running jokester." This one by Jorge Jimenez, which has been similar to a lot of "designer" type variants, and how the layout of the character's attributes will be represented or illustrated with a portrait example. i.e. clothes and etc. I got this cheapish from Duncanville Bookstore. I got it graded for free as a prize from the boardie "electricprune" and his contest that I won, that included a recommendation letter thanks to boardie Crops068. Brian has been a dear friend!! It is still hard to get a friend out of the Punchline in the comics, and it seems she is quite the fiend rather and seeks to make a "name!" Given the seriousness, this is no laughing matter. Batman is going to get an earful. As for me, I have nothing but a great experience to take away from this issue. It's technically the 2nd full appearance of the Punchline!
The regular cover, of which Punchline also is representing, and with the chess pieces!
Complete with a back cover picture of the other variant by artist Artgerm, also a 1st cover appearance of sorts, but more with a stylistic pose!
