Set Description:
Team-Up's, 1sts of suits, Spidey mostly. In the end, the one's that mean the most are the Team-ups of 70's and 80's action, lumped up for the individual stories! They are told so that we get some different perspective on what team is best suited. Pun Intended! Perhaps good old Marvel was throwing the proverbial spaghetti to see what stuck. It doesn't get more clash of the Titans than a Symbiote, whether revealed or not. It 1st appeared here, as a tie appearance with an Amazing Spider-Man issue, but it was distributed afterward!
Marvel in any Team-Up has the edge of the blade, and sometimes the edge of reality, to contend with. All of Marvel takes up a lot of space within its Universe!

Teaming up brings up correlating the cities and arriving on time for the heroes to work together, while doing the work correctly. Some villains make a mess of things that can be seen from across town, but this is before cellphones. The dynamics then play out as whomever is available it would really be worth it to show up right on time. We have long seen it on television where the right person walks in at the correct time, comics weren't different, and whoever was palling around would have some altercation before them and it was then "their issue!" Pun intended but made for good reads and pick-ups that saw some "real world" heroes out for a stroll. That in and of itself just really upset the cosmos, because "How Dare They!" With some firsts in slab and raw form, it makes for late evening reads to catch up on the hijinks, wherever they come from and wherever they may be.

Wolverine. 1st appearance of Professor Power (Anthony Power). Almost the oddest Wolverine art for a cover that I've seen, and then there is that Spidey hand, in presentable 8.5. A 1st appearance that affects this Wolverine and Spidey duo appearance as well. I watched it not sell at local comic shop Awesome Comics for a while, and I figured at $30 the cost to purchase it wasn't even the cost to slab. It was at least a grade of VF+! Glad to have a Wolverine Spidey Team Up cover to boast of, when those are two characters that are the polar opposite in personality and mood. "Grumpy Cat!" A Thwip, a grunt, and this comic has it BuB! The sarcasm plays off and takes it to the patience is a virtue lesson, for the team up of a lifetime, which is why the art should be better; although, the 80s are full of creators and comic hires cranking out work and meeting the deadlines! Over worked and under paid, it all sounds cliche, but that was the way it was and sometimes still is, when you take what you can get! Hard work to be in the comic industry!
Complete with a back cover picture of a similar series in size and scope called Marvel Two in One. With renditions that similarly try to see what sticks, it is interesting to see the scope of Marvel at this time. Finding that "The Thing" meant a great deal back then for "clobbering time" fests! Interestingly that the price of each started at 20 cents while ending at a dollar per copy with Rising costs and varying in between.
Grader Notes:
light bends to cover;
light spine stress lines to cover.

Given as a prize raw comic from musteatbrains a boardie after a grading contest 1st black costume. Tied with Amazing Spider-man 252. This is a Newsstand copy to boot! I'm amazed at the generosity! This is still after the Amazing Spider-man #252 in distribution order yet was free to me thankfully. At the time I needed it to complete the set and the notes on the labels I wasn't for sure about. I tried to get it altogether, and eventually submitted it. This Newsstand is a well enough off copy to fit the collection, and I'm happy to be simple with it, as it could be considered a 2nd appearance? It could use a press, but isn't all bad, it has some definite desirability. Long live the hoopla that is the black costume and or Venom. The descriptions rage on as toy soldiers that make the nostalgia a pivoting point for contention. That can be had for the low, low price of any copy to be good for my collection. When debates arise, we make do with what we can!
Complete with a back cover picture of a similar in size and scope series called Marvel Two in One! These two competed for space on the shelves with Team Up starting first and ending last in 1985. While both started at 20 cents, they both ended at a dollar with rising costs and Two in One mostly featuring "The Thing" ended in 1983!
Grader Notes:
chip out right top of back cover;
light spine stress lines to cover;
moderate bends to cover.
