Color Campbell High Grade Elephantmen! Sweet "different" looking GGA by Campbell! Well, different than the normal face that Scott Campbell draws. Duncanville Bookstore, Local Comic Shop Find! Sometimes collecting and buying on a whim is fun. When introduced to something new, it can draw you in. Elephantmen is a series that was to entice and make readers buy for the provocative. Doing what you can to make it attractive is all you need. A "Flipbook" and cover, and also, semi double storied wrapped and published book can keep the innovation going. Campbell doing what he can, gives the experience a sense of "coolness" in totality. Not all faces are the same, let us blow some mind grapes! These faces "could be done better though!" HAHA Campbell gives it the old college try. I buy this series for the covers, but Elephantmen is about inter species relations.

Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen pass before released to theaters of another horror, HALLOWEEN KILLS! Horror is not my style, and yet there are still "classics" in any genre, and when the opportunity to see an iteration or two or even three in theaters, I went for the experience. Masks are worn by heroes and villains alike, and often for different reasons. To what end?

Sketch cover by Scott Campbell. Flipbook with Marian Churchland biography. This cover strikes me as a Trapeze act, but the overall consensus is it's Campbell good girl art. Campbell draws well, although sometimes the faces all look the same. This one appears different to me! lol Not saying it looks better than normal, but I enjoy it for the "uniqueness" from Campbell's usual work. Like original art, the black and white or "sketch" can develop some interest. The simpleness is fun, and it makes the artist's intentions stand out. Who better than Campbell? Like a bowl of soup, or the band "Bowling for Soup", this one hit can maybe gain some traction, I hope. It is almost lost on me why they put J. Scott Campbell on the book other than it sells! I buy this series for the covers, but Elephantmen is about inter species relations, which calls for the following:

Not much of a horror fan myself, but I had to see two or three Michael Myers in theaters, and I truly believe I've had my fill. I'm glad to see him dead in the chronicles through a wood or steel wrecking yard chipper!

J. Scott Campbell Cover 9.8 another addition showing off his artistic style. Beautiful presenting in lingerie, Elephantmen is back with Campbell trying again to snag the attention of readers! The "this is going to hurt" tagline on the cover is further proof that this series can be over the top. I'm not sure if it all relates to the Elephantmen themselves, as the stories try to be more endearing between the covers. Still, altogether the package is a hook and keeps the buyers coming back. They gave it a try and lasted for quite a while on the stands; although, the Campbell covers are the ones that keep the most interest in the Elephantmen series. Highly dramatized within the pages, that even the covers are almost standalone pin-ups. Campbell has since remarked verbally with CGC in-house signings that he is constantly learning, and or, always going through different "stages" in the way he draws. To collaborate and make it new!
 Elephant things used to spark news of a caravan, but now they park it in the war of the worlds.
Complete with a back cover picture of the prescreen, actual screen, in the theater when seeing the Halloween number one! That was the first in the trilogy of films and the back cover pictures for this set. It was an eerie good time, and the first I had seen the franchise in theaters. Given age, these were a nice kind of introduction, and yet, it was years before it got wrapped up, the horror!
