1st Jennika when she becomes a ninja turtle officially! Jenny Jenny who can I turn to!?! For the price of a dime! The resident girl ninja will make her debut and keep on trucking. Found mutated and clinging to make it back to the TMNT, she is now one of them, and needing help and wisdom, these teenagers are making a beginning all their own. Come along for the story of justice for those who would seek and destroy! A lot of fun to see an added member, and soon after to lose the Master Splinter. It's all building for something; be it break out stars or just PIZZA TIME! Bebop and Rocksteady are on the covers of the Exclusive Variant. I say that because there really are a lot of "variants" to this issue. I'm taking to what was affordable as a tribute to the franchise that made my Saturday mornings as a kid. I even had the movie novel that I begged my parents for and in the end read cover to cover. "A little too Raph!" Sai will get the last draw or rendition of story completion, by the Nunchaku, Bo Staff and Katanna.
Complete with a back cover picture of the PRESCREEN PASS to see a 2023 rendition of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem!! Before publicly released in theaters, which is still crowded with anticipation. Sure to excite and ninja kick the morning routines!

"Death" of Splinter! Can't keep a good rat down. The ninja turtle that is most likely to survive will go on to learn that even after the proverbial grave, there is ninja purpose. Pizza Time! A striking cover to say the least. Very moving, the issue is on its way to concluding the series yet will build and the limited series will take over as king for a while. I'm sure that anything permanent will be found in the character building, always like to keep my audiences riveted! Blazing Saddles. But I kung-fu with this hand! Beautiful cover and with a quality inking when printed. It does have a finger bend it seems and perhaps that was its grading downfall. Bought from LCS Awesome Comics with a bit of trade value that I had and I am satisfied. I gave a bunch of under copies of $10-20 books. I may choose to forget what specifically, as they were special too, lol. I was in the mood for this slab, and I'm glad that I could make it happen regardless! At the time Stan Lee had passed and it was a last reaching out in effort by me to stay related to all things comics, as it is an "Excelsior Exclusive!"
Complete with the poster that I bought my brother as a kid, as a back cover picture. I bought it for him at the time the Cowboys won the Super Bowl, and I bought me a Michael Irwin and Emmitt Smith poster lol. How about them boys! I taped my brothers TMNT poster to cardboard, as he was young, and I didn't want it to get torn. We kept up with it to this day!

A no spoiler description, on a story that has rocked the TMNT house. These Turtles are keeping the intuition and ninja style going. Making it a long-awaited series, that Eastman and Laird had fleshed out years ago! THE LAST RONIN!! This may be the "end in style". We've got a Turtle weapon wielding Ninja, i.e. Ronin, the last of his clan. Got to make with the memories and ghost stories of the brother's departure and sharpen the focus to the task at hands. Though it is not without hardship to stick to the ninja way, and that will be key in the mission to avenge the fallen, the ultimate victors. A "one" for the ages and past times, the Last Ronin is sure to be a grateful and thankful sullen compromise of what was and what can become as a classic. The Eastman and Laird final contribution? They've stood together but made it as a team time after time!
Complete with a back cover picture of, The TMNT arcade as the most nostalgic image I could come up with for how these heroes are to be remembered, a team, this limited series may still bring them closer together before it is all finished!

I happened to be going by the Local Comic Shop on a Wednesday. I knew it was new comic book day, but today there was a line! I asked, "What's the hubbub bub?" The Last Ronin had struck my heart with a Sai and Nunchaku! The Sword blade pointed me toward the Bo staff of the counter! I'll take 2 please! This is the only "variant" of this issue I obtained, since it was an actual "Eastman cover and art!" I figured to get the creator's edition, as it is his creation, and his and Lairds story from way back that they finally completed and put ink to paper. A cool reddish orange that is at least "different" looking than anything I've seen before, and the story inside is the talk of the town. A lone Ninja Turtle survives and makes the grade, or try's to, to keep the Ninja time going despite all odds! I wouldn't have it any other way, and "I Love Being a Turtle!"
Complete with a back cover picture that is from my scrapbook as a kid. Cutting and pasting was all the rage in the late 80's to early 90's. We had figureheads geared towards us youngsters, and all we could say was COWABUNGA!
